Teams seat prices

Teams is one subscription for the whole team: one renewal date and one payment. The plan covers 5 seats, and each seat after that is priced by band, so the bigger your team the less each extra seat costs.

Common questions

Are electronic signatures valid in the UK?
Yes, for most everyday business documents. In the UK an electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect or be excluded as evidence just because it is electronic (Article 25 of the UK eIDAS Regulation), and section 7 of the Electronic Communications Act 2000 makes it admissible in evidence. That covers things like quotes, service agreements, NDAs, consent forms and employment paperwork. Whether a particular document is valid still depends on what it says and on any formalities the law requires for that type of document. Some documents cannot be signed this way: wills, lasting powers of attorney, deeds that must be witnessed in person, and anything that must be signed in front of a solicitor or notary. If you are unsure, ask a solicitor.
Do my signers need an account?
No. They open a private link from an email, check the document and sign on any phone or computer. They can draw, type or upload their signature. It takes about a minute.
What do you record about a signature?
We record what happened and when: the document was created, sent, opened and signed, with timestamps. We do not record IP addresses or locations in your activity trail or database. Every signed PDF ends with an activity trail page, and anyone can check a signed file is unaltered with our free Check a signed document page.
What happens when my free trial ends?
After 7 days, or once you have sent 3 documents, you need a paid plan to send more. You can still log in, view and download everything you already have. The trial never turns into a paid plan on its own, and we never ask for a card to start it.
Is there really no limit on documents?
There are no per-document fees and no monthly caps. To keep things fast for everyone, each document can be up to 15 MB, 100 pages, 10 signers and 300 fields, and you can have up to 25 unfinished drafts at once.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Go to Account, then Manage billing, and cancel in a couple of clicks. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. There are no cancellation fees. If you are a consumer you also have a 14-day right to cancel a new paid plan.
Who handles my payment?
Payments go through Polar, our payment provider and the seller of record. They take your payment, collect the VAT (prices already include it) and send your receipt. We never see your card details.
Can I reuse a document, or start from a template?
Yes. Save any document as a template and make a fresh draft from it whenever you need one, with the signers and fields already in place. We also include four plain-English starter forms for everyday UK situations: a mutual confidentiality agreement, a freelance services agreement, a photo and video release, and a quote acceptance form. They are general information, not legal advice, so read them through and change what you need before you send.
Do you chase people who have not signed?
Yes, gently. If you leave automatic reminders on, anyone who has not signed is reminded after 2, 5 and 9 days, with a maximum of three, and you can switch them off for any document. You can also set a deadline of 7, 14, 30 or 60 days; we warn you the day before, and after it passes nobody can sign. You can send one extra reminder per signer each day.
Can I sign a document myself, or sign in person?
Yes to both. Add yourself as a signer and sign your own fields right on the document in the editor before you send, so there is no extra step and no email to yourself. If someone is with you, choose Sign in person to show them a QR code or hand over your device; the link works for 20 minutes and the activity trail records that it was signed in person.
How do extra people on a Teams plan work?
Teams includes 5 people for £29 a month. The team owner can add extra seats, and the bigger the team the less each seat costs: £6.00 each for seats 6–15, £5.50 for 16–30, £5.00 for 31–60 and £4.50 for 61–100. Teams is one subscription, so your plan and your seats renew together on one date and are taken as one payment, VAT included. Adding a seat part-way through a month is charged pro rata. If you add seats in the last 5 days before your renewal, they start at that renewal and you are charged then, so you never pay for a few days at the end of a month. Extra seats are a one-month commitment: a new seat renews once before it can be removed, and removing one takes effect at a renewal. Seats are changed in SignEdge, so your team and your plan always match. The owner can also hand the team to another member, who takes over the plan.
What kind of file can I upload?
PDFs only, up to 15 MB and 100 pages. Password-protected PDFs need the password removed first. Scanned documents work as long as they are saved as a PDF.
